Angriest Pharmacist?

So it turns out that someone is trying to ride on my coattails. I realize that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but a line has to be drawn.
I don’t really think that I’m pissed off that this douche decided to start a blog to capture what the DrugNazi and I do, but that he wasn’t even creative enough to give himself a recognizable name.

No, I’m not related to the AngryPharmacist. I don’t know him. I’ve never even exchanged pleasantries with him. I did happen upon his site and loved it…so, I semi-jacked the name. If you read both, you’d know that our content is quite different, as is our writing style. God forbid two different entities start up similar ‘services’ about/providing the same thing. Damn you Coke and Pepsi. Piss off MSN and CNN. Go to hell Cingular, Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular.

You didnt semi-jack the name. You basically took my domain name, added -iest on it, then claimed it as your own. Our content may be different, but our domain names arent. This isnt like Coke and Pepsi. Coke and Pepsi have two /different/ names that cannot be confused with each other. Compare that with angrypharmacist and angriestpharmacist and I hope you’ll see what i’m talking about. If not, then take both names, cross out the letters that are in both names, and what remains is the extent of your creativeness.

Can you fucking think of anything yourself? Not only did you totally rip off my idea, my domain name, but now my site slogan? Amazing how similar that is to “Rants from the most trusted profession”.
Am I telling you to shut down your site? No.
Am I angry at you for totally copying my shit? Sorta.
Do I hate you? No.
Will I poke fun at you forever? Hell Yes!
Do I think you have the creativity of a turd baking in the sun? Look at your domain name and slogan and tell me.
Beware angriestpharmacist, you are riding on some pretty burly coat-tails, and a lot of eyes are going to be on you just waiting for you to screw up. I hope you are up to the task and have a damn good sense of humor.

Dear Angry Pharmacist and Drug Nazi
I was the one who sent that email to the angriest guy and frankly I do not intend on facilitate a drug war (lol). Let me let you know a little about myself. I’m an 18 year old pre-pharmacy sophomore from the northeast. I’ve been a pharmacy technician since I was 16. When I’m working at home, I work in the innercity and when I work at school, I work in the country so I have the ability to paint a good picture to any comment that is left on the site. I screwed up what I had meant to say when speaking of the brand/generics. It was suppose to be a fast dare between me and one of my buddies and I didn’t intend on him/her posting it (the real name I posted was johnny lixmydick; notice he didn’t post that). Anyways, sorry for all the trouble, you guys run a great website and I tell everyone in the profession about it. Thanks for letting the public know all we have to deal with.

Holy Balls. Why can’t we all just get along?! I enjoy everyone’s site (although the Drug Monkey’s political banter gets a bit old after awhile). I say the more the merrier. Can’t we all just hold hands and sing Kumbaya??

Well now, here’s something interesting. I read both your site and Mr. Angriest regularly, and he’s correct in that you both cater different experiences in pharmacy. Sure, you’re conservative and he’s…tree-hugging liberal, but I see nothing wrong here. Sure, he stole the name, but what of it? You both know that doesn’t make him better than you. There’s good quality shit in both of your rants. Just ignore him, or send more fake oxycontin scripts to his pharmacy, or prank call him or something. Geez, everyone’s so high strung. Except people who have more soma than blood in their veins… *happy thoughts*

Seriously, I enjoy each of your blogs – DrugMonkey(DrugNazi), PharmerJane, BlondePharmacist, PharmacyGod, Fast Food Pharmacy, …. and of course there is the Angry Intern as well! And I can’t forget about the original “tell-it-like-it-is pharmacist”, Jim Plagakis! Of course, I think he really enjoys retail, as opposed to some of the others 🙂
You each capture the essense of retail pharmacy in ways that only a pharmacist can understand, and you tell it to the world. Every once in a while, I’ll print off one of your relevant blogs, and show it to my wife; just so she’ll understand what we go through every single day of our lives! I not only still practice retail, but do pharmacy recruiting as well, and have found through my own work experiences, as well as ongoing recruitment projects that, very few truly fulfilling pharmacy jobs exist.
Point is, there is enough room in the blogospere for all of you, and a probably thousand more. Each of your blogs make the day pass with a little more realization that other people are going through the same crap I am, and I appreciate it!

I was looking on here as usual crackn mt little pt ass off and then decided to look at his, I read for over 2 hours worth of boring bullshit that my 5 yr old would get bored enough to do us writing exercise, which he hates!!! I mean good for hm if he wants to do it too but what about a name like the madder than hell pharmacist, pharmacist with douchebag drama, the I wanna be like mike pharmacist,(bad boys bad boys lol), or just plain out the like almost as good as the angry phamacist!!!
